EPA Publishes Greenhouse Gas Endangerment Final Rule
The EPA published its Endangerment and Cause or Contribute Findings for Greenhouse Gases final rule Tuesday. The regulation is actionable under section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act and finds that “six greenhouse gases taken in combination endanger both the public health and the public welfare of current and future generations.” While the findings are effective January 14, 2010, the rule is subject to judicial review through February 16, 2010.
